WE ARE ONWARD RECOVERY

Our
Story

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal, messy, and sometimes painful—but it’s also possible. The Onward Group was born from that truth.

We started this practice because We’ve lived both sides of the struggle. We know what it’s like to feel stuck, to watch a loved one spiral, or to wonder if real change is even possible. Onward Group exists to meet people right where they are—with compassion, structure, and steady support.

We don’t just focus on sobriety—we focus on life beyond it. Whether you're taking your first steps toward recovery or supporting someone you love, we offer practical, hands-on help: mentorship, crisis intervention, sober companionship, safe transport, and ongoing accountability.

This work isn’t about checking boxes. It’s about showing up—for the hard conversations, the small victories, the daily routines, and the moments when staying sober feels impossible. You're not alone in this.

Wherever you're starting from, the goal is the same: to keep moving forward.

Confidentiality

Onward Group holds the privacy of individuals and their families in the highest regard. We will not share your information or disclose our role to anyone. It is up to the individual we are working with to decide how to explain our presence. Often times we are referred to as a friend or family member, but its whatever they feel comfortable with.

Certified CRPA (Certified Recovery Peer Advocate)

As someone who has experienced the highs and lows of addiction and recovery, I understand how challenging—and rewarding—the journey can be. After finding my own path to sobriety, I felt called to help others do the same. Now, as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA), I use both my professional training and personal experiences to support those ready to create meaningful change in their lives.

I believe recovery isn’t just about abstinence—it’s about rediscovering who you are, rebuilding trust, and creating a life you’re excited to live. Whether it’s navigating the early days of sobriety, finding structure in day-to-day routines, or just having someone who truly “gets it,” I’m here to walk beside you.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me immersed in photography or volunteering with God’s Love We Deliver, an organization close to my heart. Recovery has taught me that no one has to go through it alone—and together, we can take the next step toward your best life
